Women Development and Child Welfare Department takes utmost care to utilize your donations as per the objectives of Juvenile Justice Fund and any other suggestions made by donors. Donations once made cannot be refunded by the department since they are immediately utilized for welfare of children in need.
However, in case of technical issues that may have occurred at donor end while donating online, like a double debit or incorrect amount entered, the department will consider the refund request if the same is brought to the notice of department within 10 days after making the donation.
A formal request for a refund, either to our office address or through an email to tsicps@gmail.com, along with proof of deduction of the donation andone identity document of donor is to be submitted by the donor to consider refund request. The donor shall also cooperate in providing any other furtherinformation ordocuments sought by the department in this regard.
If the donor has already been issued a donation receipt, the original receipt is to be submitted to the department to initiate the refund request. The department will respond to refund requests within 7 days, provided all the correct details are shared. Domestic refunds would take 15-30 days and international refunds would take 30-45 days from the date of receipt of the request along with relevant documents.All donation refunds would only be made in the same mode of transactionin the name of the donor who has made the donation.
Please note that if donor tax exemption certificate is already issued, the refund request will not be processed.
